A lot of people were good at finding and executing on expired listings, but when the market got easy in 2020 and 2021, they stopped doing it. As a result, there’s a lot less agents going after expired listings. At the same time, the slow down in the market has produced a lot more expired listings. With more of them and a lot less people hunting them, there is a great opportunity for agents to find new business. In this episode, host Dan Lesniak gives us a strategy on spending a couple of hours each day calling expired listings, knocking doors, and preparing leave-behind materials. It’s a numbers game. The more calls you make and the more doors you knock, the more opportunities you are going to find. Once you do, Dan gives you the right questions to ask those with expired listings and a plan to effectively communicate with them throughout the process of listing and showing their home to potential buyers.
